Day 15, Tuesday February 18 ~
Departure from St. John All but Catherine and Joan, who were staying another week and planned to participate in a road race, loaded up their luggage and proceeded from camp to Cruz Bay, Red Hook via ferry, and the St. Thomas airport via taxi. Although some flights were delayed because of the snowstorm, most were not. However, the direct flight to Boston was cancelled. Consequently, the Boston area folks had to stay in St. Thomas for one, two or three nights until they could return home. So they could enjoy the sun for a little longer and the wait til next year was shorter.
