August 31 - Free Day

 

A very soggy day. It was colder than it had been with the day high about 60 and it rained all day. As forecast, at the higher elevations there was snow. Hence it was decreed a non-hiking day. Several went to Innsbruck for some hours for some shopping and museum going.  We slept late, had a lazy day and in the afternoon we went to the town Hallenbad (Hall for bathing).



 

 
 

 

In the evening we and a few others went to the town "FestHalle (festival hall) where a local band performed.
