September 1 - Erlebnispark and Erlebnisweg

 

It was rather gray and overcast with many low clouds and some hints of snow at higher elevations when we got up. We bundled up and again took the bus to Fulpmes and then the Schlick 2000 gondola to the top. At  2100m it was cold and foggy and there were small patches of snow. Gradually we walked down a very graded path through the "Alpin-Erlebnispark" to the middle station of the gondola. Along the way there were numerous educational signs and some included a quiz question whose answer was at the next sign.

 We stopped for lunch at the Schlickeralm at 1645m.

After lunch we continued on the "Erlebnisweg" (Life experience path) through an educational and large child/adult play area.
 


 

 


 

 


 

 


 

 


 

 


 

 
We proceeded through fog

 		 and were accosted by a pony and a donkey.

 

We took the gondola down to Fulpmes and the bus back to Neustift.  In Neustift we found some wedding related ceremonies going on by the church.
