Austria 2012

After breakfast, using our just acquired Stubai cards, we took the bus from near the hotel to the Serles gondola stop adjacent to the town of Mieders. We took the HochSerles gondola to the top, Koppeneck, 1600m.


At the top there is an Alm and a play yard and views of Serles (Mountain), 2717m.	Also views into the Stubai valley and the mountains across the way.
We walked uphill on gravel paths	and through the woods.
Maria Waldrast, a pilgrimage Abbey at 1641m.
	From there we walked up hill to the Waldrast Jochl, 1878m

We walked a short distance downhill to the Ochsenhutte for lunch.
A couple took the gondola back down; others experienced the Alpine Slide.
From town we could see several paragliders.
