February 27 - Stewart Island
In the morning we slowly wandered following at first the "Fuchsia Walk" path over to Golden Bay where our afternoon tour would start.

In the afternoon we had a private guided tour of the Ulva Island Bird Sanctuary led by Ulva Goodwillie. Ulva was named after Ulva Island and is a direct descendant of the first Maori peoples of Stewart Island. |
