February 18 - Milford Track - Day 4
This is to be our last day on the Track; it’s 13 miles (21km) of varied terrain, slightly downhill through the Arthur Valley, with no significant climbing. When we awoke the weather was still very heavy, gray and wet. Fortunately, by mid-morning the weather cleared. However, the trail was still wet and the forest very lush and with many weird plants.

A short side trail brought us to Bell Rock, a large rock that looks like a bell as it has been hollowed out by flowing water. ![]() |
