September 7 - Top of the Tirol
A glorious day. When we awoke there was
hardly a cloud in the sky and a glow was on the mountains.
We all gathered at the kindergarten bus stop and took the bus up the Stubai valley to the end of the road at Mutterbergalm which is also the base of the gondola. There the group split up. Two immediately took the gondola to the top. Some started to hike up to the Dresdenerhutte which is adjacent to the first gondola station. While we got ready to start some sheep tried to get onto the gondola.
