An Excursion East from Bryce Canyon National Park

Kodachrome Basin State Park

The sandstone here is so soft that one can make
finger/handprints in it by just rubbing the stone.
One can see the sand wearing off.

The soft sandstone erodes and washes down the steep walls
and hardens into stone that looks like drippings.
