We arrived in Pisa in the late afternoon and took taxis to our hotel the Villa Kinzica (http://www.hotelvillakinzica.it/).  After checking in we had just a bit of time to see the major sights, the Leaning Tower, the Duomo, and the Battistero, which were just a short walk from the hotel.  Then we had our farewell dinner at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel.

Sunday October 16

At various times most of us took taxis to the airport for flights home.  A few continued their travels in Italy.  Depending on departure times, there was some time for sightseeing.
